Leather Care

Your boots use either smooth leather or rough out leather. Each requires different care.
ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE

SMOOTH LEATHER

Cleaning: Remove dirt with a damp cloth. For stubborn buildup, use a horsehair brush.

Conditioning: Apply conditioner when leather looks dry or feels stiff. Condition every few months or as needed.

FIELD-TESTED CARE

ROUGH OUT LEATHER

Cleaning: Wire or horsehair brush lifts matted nap. Brush as needed, not after every wear.

Conditioning: Two routes: suede spray keeps the rough texture, or daub with wax for military-grade waterproofing. Wax changes the look but adheres perfectly to the nap.
