It's Friday and we're here with some behind the scenes shots from the production floor. We build our boots here in Eugene, Oregon and we're very proud of our process and the end result, and we think you will enjoy some behind the scenes action.
The rich texture and bold color of Coach Rambler leather.
After zig-zag stitching the quarters together, the backstay is sewn on.
Furhter along in sewing, the gusset is sewn before excess leather is trimmed along the edge.

As the leather is pulled around the last, the oils from tanning shift, lightening especially in the vamp.
After toe lasting, adjustments are made to the side lasting.
The next step from here would be heel lasting.
Sesame in cap toe form is coming along nicely; this batch has a Dainite Ridgeway sole.
That underfoot comfort comes from evenly applied cork filling.
After the midsole is attached, the welt is rolled to ensure good adhesion before outsole is placed and sewn.
